Rangers win wild-card game, go on to win NL wild-cards

New York’s Kyle Schwarber hit two home runs and Aaron Hicks doubled and homered in a three-run third inning for the Rangers, who are now two games behind the Braves in the division.

The Braves beat the Cardinals 6-4 on Wednesday night, with Carlos Gonzalez, who started the game, making his MLB debut.
